The Christ International Gospel Apostolic College of Ministry (CIGACOM) has charged its latest set of graduates to put the biblical knowledge acquired during their training into practical use to promote the growth, expansion and spiritual advancement of Christendom.
The charge was delivered by the General Overseer of Christ International Gospel Apostolic Church and Mother in Israel, Lady Evangelist Grace Aladesanmi Aladejimokun, represented by Pastor Aladeniyi Aladejimokun, at the college’s 29th graduation ceremony held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the church premises in Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Ten students graduated after successfully completing their programmes in the 2026 academic session — four receiving Certificates and six the Diploma.
Congratulating the graduands, Lady Evangelist Aladejimokun praised their commitment to deepening their understanding of the Bible and preparing for Christian service. She stressed that the time, effort and resources invested in their studies must now translate into meaningful contributions to the church and society.
She urged the graduates to apply their knowledge with humility, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, noting that graduation should mark the beginning of greater commitment to the work of God. She also encouraged them to pursue further studies at diploma and degree levels to enhance their effectiveness in ministry.
“You should also try to seek for more knowledge through higher studies in Diploma and Degree courses as it may be appropriate,” she advised.
The General Overseer further called on church members yet to enrol in the college to take advantage of its programmes, describing biblical education as a vital means of strengthening Christian lives and deepening understanding of God’s Word. She expressed appreciation to the college management and lecturers for their dedication, thanked the church membership for their prayers and support, and acknowledged invited guests for honouring the occasion. She prayed for God’s continued blessings on all who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
In his welcome address, Deacon Ayoola Oladipupo described the event as another significant milestone in the history of CIGACOM. He recalled that the institution was established in 1997 by Prophet (Dr.) Daniel Aladesanmi Aladejimokun to impart biblical knowledge to people across races, tribes, sexes and Christian denominations.
The college, he said, has remained committed to equipping believers for effective Christian living and service.
Speaking on behalf of the management, Deacon Oladipupo expressed gratitude to Lady Evangelist Grace Aladesanmi Aladejimokun for her continued moral and spiritual support, thanked the entire membership of Christ International Gospel Apostolic Church for enabling the college to extend biblical knowledge, and acknowledged God for the life and vision of the founder.
Presenting the academic report, Pastor Solomon Oladipo disclosed that the students participated in 42 training sessions conducted on Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon. The programme provided foundational and specialised knowledge relevant to Christian ministry, church administration, leadership and biblical interpretation.
Certificate students received instruction in 20 major areas, including Evangelism, Etiquette, Women in the Ministry, Homiletics, Sunday School Management, Ministerial Communication and Bible Survey.
Diploma students covered 22 areas, among them Pastoral Theology, the Life of Jesus, Leadership, Church Growth, Daniel and Revelation, and Angelology.
According to the report, the students demonstrated punctuality and diligence throughout the training period and performed above average in continuous assessments and final examinations held in September 2026.
In the sermon titled “To Have More Knowledge,” drawn from 2 Timothy 3:16–17, Pastor Abraham Idosa emphasised that knowledge is essential for personal development, effective Christian service and the fulfilment of God’s purpose. He stressed that Christians must not be content with the knowledge they already possess but should continually seek a deeper understanding of God’s Word in order to grow spiritually.
He encouraged the graduands to regard their graduation not as the end of their learning journey but as the beginning of greater responsibility to study the Scriptures, improve their ministerial competence and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the Gospel.
Certificates were presented to the 10 graduands in recognition of their successful completion of the programmes.
Mrs Kehinde Odunfa also presented gifts to students in both the Certificate and Diploma classes, as well as to the lecturers, in appreciation of their efforts.
The ceremony further featured a drama ministration and special prayers for the graduands offered by Pastor Gbenga Sowale.
Church leaders, college management, lecturers, graduands, invited guests and members of Christ International Gospel Apostolic Church gathered to celebrate the academic achievements and to encourage the new graduates in their continued growth in biblical knowledge and Christian service.
