PRAISE ROCKS GOD IS ABLE COVENANT MISSION AS CHURCH ROUNDS OFF AUGUST SERVICES IN GRAND STYLE

— Apostle Adeniji Anchors Grand Praise on 2 Chronicles 20:15-30 

It was an atmosphere of joy, thanksgiving and spiritual celebration at God Is Able Covenant Mission Inc. as the church rounded off its August Sunday services last Sunday with a grand Powerful Praise Service.

The church had earlier dedicated its Sunday services and Bible study days throughout the month of August to Powerful Praise, giving members the opportunity to appreciate God for His faithfulness, protection, provision and blessings. 

The grand finale came with an extraordinary display of joy as men, women, youths, children and ministers turned out in colourful and beautiful outfits to celebrate God.

While speaking shortly before the commencement of the grand praise, the General Overseer of God Is Able Covenant Mission Inc., Apostle P. O. Adeniji, anchored his message on 2 Chronicles 20:15–30, setting the spiritual tone for what became a remarkable session of praise and thanksgiving. 

The biblical passage, which recounts how Judah experienced divine intervention as they praised and trusted God, served as a powerful reminder of the place of praise in attracting God's intervention.

The congregation subsequently entered into an atmosphere of fervent praise, singing, clapping and dancing enthusiastically to songs of thanksgiving. 

The church choir led the worshippers in powerful praise songs  with inspiring performances. 

The atmosphere became deeply charged with spiritual excitement as members praised God with one heart and one voice.

The second phase of the praise session witnessed another powerful dimension as Bro. Oladipupo J. took the lead in a spirited praise session. His energetic rendition and the response of the congregation created an atmosphere of intense celebration, with members expressing their faith that their praises had reached the heavens and brought the mighty hand of God into their midst.

One of the major highlights of the day's celebration was a dancing competition, which added colour, excitement and healthy Christian fellowship to the programme. 

Four participants emerged winners and were rewarded with cash prizes and gifts by the church authorities in recognition of their outstanding participation and display of joyful dancing.

The grand praise service ended on a high note, with members leaving the church filled with joy, renewed faith and gratitude to God. 

The August programme was described as a celebration of God's goodness and a reminder that praise should not be restricted to a particular month or programme, but should remain a lifestyle for every believer.

The church leadership expressed appreciation to all members, ministers, the choir, and everyone who contributed to the success of the August Powerful Praise programme, while encouraging the congregation to continue trusting and praising God in every circumstance.

The celebration was anchored on the enduring biblical truth that “the battle is not yours, but God's” (2 Chronicles 20:15), with the congregation believing that, as in the days of King Jehoshaphat, sincere praise remains a powerful expression of faith in God's ability to intervene in the affairs of His people.
