The National Orientation Agency, NOA, Ogun State Directorate has paid a courtesy visit to Yewa South Local Government to deepen collaboration on public enlightenment, civic responsibility, and grassroots development.
The delegation was received on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Barr. Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola , by the Supervisor for Community Development, Hon. Ogunlola Oluwole . He welcomed the team and commended NOA for its consistent role in promoting patriotism, unity, and citizen engagement.
Hon. Ogunlola assured the Agency of Yewa South LGA’s full support, noting that the council remains committed to programmes that foster peace, community development, and active citizen participation.
In his remarks, the Director of General Services and Administration, Mr. Adeniyi Fatai , highlighted the need for sustained inter-agency collaboration to ensure government policies and orientation campaigns effectively reach residents at the grassroots.
Speaking for the Agency, the Ogun State Director of NOA, Mrs. Aisha Bolanle Tiamiyu , said the visit was to strengthen working ties with the local government. She emphasized the importance of joint sensitization efforts on national values, civic duties, security awareness, and government programmes.
Mrs. Tiamiyu reaffirmed NOA’s commitment to partner with Yewa South LGA in mobilizing residents for positive behavioral change and national development.
Both parties agreed to work together on upcoming campaigns, town-hall engagements, and community outreach initiatives aimed at improving the wellbeing of Yewa South residents.
The visit ended with a vote of commitment to sustained partnership.
