The Executive Chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government, Hon. Odunnoiki AbdulGaniyu Adetoye, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the entire workforce in Ogun Waterside and across Nigeria on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day, coinciding with the beginning of a new month.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman described workers as the true backbone of the nation, whose daily sacrifices and commitment continue to drive growth, stability, and development at all levels of society.
“I stand in firm solidarity with every hardworking individual in our community and beyond,” he stated.
“Your resilience and dedication, whether in the fields, clinics, workshops, farms, or offices, remain the foundation upon which our collective progress is built.”
Hon. Adetoye emphasized that labour remains the fuel powering national development, noting that no meaningful advancement can be achieved without the unwavering efforts of the workforce.
He acknowledged the vital contributions of workers in sustaining the local economy and strengthening governance at the grassroots.
As the new month of May begins, the Chairman expressed optimism for greater achievements and improved welfare for workers.
He prayed that the efforts of all diligent citizens would yield rewarding outcomes and contribute to building a stronger, more united nation.
“May this new month bring renewed hope, prosperity, and fulfillment to every worker. Together, through dedication and unity, we will continue to shape a future we can all be proud of,” he added.
He concluded his message with a call for continued unity and commitment to progress.
