The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, has once again demonstrated purposeful leadership and commitment to workers’ welfare as he fulfilled his promise of cash rewards and incentives to outstanding departments and other departments during the End-of-Year celebration, tagged , NULGELIGANZA: OJUDE ESKAY SEASON 1.
In further underscoring his unwavering commitment to workers' welfare, the Chairman had earlier approved and paid New Year bonus to all staff of Ewekoro Local Government, a gesture widely appreciated across board as a timely morale booster.
This was subsequently follow now with the fulfillment of his End-Of-Year party promise, with cash rewards to outstanding departments and other participating departments during NULGELIGANZA: OJUDE ESKAY SEASON 1, clearly demostrating that his administration does not only make promises but consistently keeps them, reinforcing trust, motivation within the workforce.
The Chairman described the fulfilment of the promise as a matter of integrity and trust, noting that his administration believes strongly in rewarding excellence and motivating productivity within the local government system.
“A promise made is a debt owed. Today, we are happy to redeem that promise because our workers deserve it. Welfare is not a privilege; it is a responsibility of leadership,” Hon. Adesina declared.
He emphasized that staff welfare remains a cornerstone of his administration, assuring workers that the government will continue to roll out rich, people-oriented welfare packages aimed at boosting morale, efficiency, and loyalty.
“When our workers are happy, governance becomes easier and service delivery improves. That is why this administration will not relent in prioritising your welfare,” he added.
The Chairman urged staff members to reciprocate the gesture by showing renewed dedication, professionalism, and commitment to duty.
“I challenge you all to give more than your best. Let your dedication speak louder than words, because together we can move Ewekoro forward,” he charged.
Looking ahead, Hon. Adesina announced that 2026 End-Of-Year party, tagged, NULGELIGANZA: OJUDE ESKAY SEASON 2 will be even more competitive, with bigger and juicier reward packages, encouraging departments to begin early preparation and healthy competition.
“By 2026, the bar will be higher. The competition will be tougher, and the rewards will be bigger. Start preparing now,” he stated.
In a bold declaration of political confidence, the Chairman added:
“This time around, we political functionaries are battle-ready for the top position as well.”
Reacting to the development, the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Mrs. Ogunyewo Oluwakemi Mutiat, commended the Chairman for his top-notch welfare initiatives, describing them as unprecedented and staff-friendly.
“The Chairman has shown exceptional concern for the welfare of staff. This kind of leadership deserves loyalty, hard work, and total commitment,” she said.
Mrs. Ogunyewo charged workers to give 100 percent loyalty to the administration and align with the Chairman’s vision.
“Let us continue to work hard and support this administration wholeheartedly so that together we can achieve the Chairman’s vision of taking Ewekoro Local Government to the greatest height,” she urged.
Also speaking, the NULGE Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government branch, Comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim applauded the Council Chairman for keeping faith with staff and honouring his End-of-Year promise , apart from the payment of New Year bonus.
“This administration has once again proven that workers’ welfare is not just a slogan. The fulfilment of this promise has strengthened trust between the government and the workforce,” he noted.
He appreciated the leadership of the Council Chairman and described NULGELIGANZA: OJUDE ESKAY SEASON 1 as a morale-boosting initiative that has deepened unity and motivation among workers.
