The 29th Annual Convention and Thanksgiving of God Is Able Covenant Mission (GOSACOM) Inc. came to a glorious close on Sunday at the church’s Rehoboth Ground Camp, Mango, Oke-Ata, Idigba, marking another significant milestone in the mission’s steady growth and spiritual impact.
The grand finale attracted dignitaries from across the state and beyond, including ministers from various churches, representatives of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and numerous well-wishers, all joining to celebrate with the mission.
Ministering at the colourful event, Rev’d A. J. Ojo congratulated the General Overseer, Apostle P.O. Adeniji, and Mummy G.O., praising their commitment and the successful outcome of the 2025 convention. He further appreciated church members for their steadfastness and called for continued support for Apostle Adeniji as “the mouthpiece of God.”
Preaching on the theme, “Remembrance of God,” Rev’d A. J. Ojo stressed that God never forgets His people; rather, life’s trials often make it appear so. Using biblical references involving the Israelites, Philistines, and Midianites—who once destroyed Israel’s harvests and livestock—he illustrated how hardship compelled the younger generation to call upon the elders to seek God again.
Quoting Judges 13:6, he highlighted the importance and efficacy of prayer, urging Christians to deepen their faith, draw closer to God, and remain diligent in studying the Scriptures. He warned against the “broad way” that leads to destruction and encouraged youths to stay committed to Godly pursuits instead of unprofitable ventures.
In his welcome address, Apostle Adeniji expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for sustaining the mission for twenty-nine years. He appreciated all ministers who participated in the one-week programme, as well as pastors, workers, and members of the church, saying, “Without you, we cannot have GOSACOM.”
The cleric also announced that the 30th convention of the ministry would be a much bigger celebration and urged members to prepare spiritually and financially, praying that “the God of provision will provide for us adequately to play our role.”
Additionally, generous donations were made towards the ongoing gigantic projects at the Rehoboth Ground, reflecting the members’ commitment to the continued development of the church’s permanent camp and facilities.
