TAIWO AKINTOMIDE INDUCTED AS FELLOW OF THE NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

In recognition of her exceptional contributions to the field of public relations and unwavering dedication to professional excellence, Mrs. Taiwo Akintomide has been conferred with the prestigious title of Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The induction ceremony took place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, during the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NIPR in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, as part of the activities marking the 2025 Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW).  

A distinguished public relations expert and seasoned administrator, Mrs. Akintomide was decorated as a Fellow by Dr. Ike Neliaku, President and Chairman of the NIPR Governing Council. The historic event also featured the installation of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, as a Patron of the Institute.  

Mrs. Akintomide, who joined the NIPR as an Associate Member on May 2, 1997, and attained full membership on January 31, 2013, has demonstrated exemplary leadership and professionalism throughout her career. She also holds membership in the Body of Heads of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) in Ogun State, further underscoring her administrative expertise and commitment to public service.  
The conferment of Fellowship is the highest professional recognition by the NIPR, reserved for individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of public relations practice in Nigeria. Mrs. Akintomide’s induction into this elite cadre reaffirms her status as a trailblazer and role model in the industry.
