MRS SOLOMON ELIZABETH CELEBRATES RETIREMENT/ DIAMOND JUBILEE IN GRAND STYLE

All roads led to H3 EVENT CENTER, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta as people from various backgrounds, professions, and social statuses besieged the venue to celebrate Mrs Solomon Elizabeth Abiola on her retirement and 60th birthday.
Earlier, on Wednesday, 30th April,2025 , the sexagenarian had performed the official pen down at Ewekoro Local Government Secretariat where she retired as the Head Of Local Government Administration.

The Chief host of the retirement/birthday ceremony, the Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, congratulated Mrs Solomon Elizabeth Abiola on her attainment of golden moments of retirement and diamond jubilee.
According to Hon Adesina, the celebrant is one of the dedicated HOLGAs that have worked in many Local Governments, including Ewekoro Local Government.

The Council helmsman, stated that Mrs Solomon Elizabeth's short stay and immense contributions to the progress and development of Ewekoro Local Government was an indelible ink which can not be erased in the history of the council.
Hon. Adesina, therefore, acknowledged the celebrant's cooperation, team work and resilience which he described as unmatched.

" The management and the entire staff of Ewekoro Local Government are already missing your expertise advice. Anyway, since it is statutory to take your exit, there is nothing one can do."

" May your new life be blessed with abundant health, long life and adequate wealth,"--the Chairman prayed.
In his goodwill message, Mr. Rufus Olaleye, Head Of Local Government Administration, Abeokuta South Local Government, speaking on behalf of the body of  HOLGAs , described Mrs Solomon Elizabeth as a virtuous woman, good woman, humble to the core.

" She is also a colleague and as a colleague, she has done well too. This is another facet of life, and i pray you will enjoy the fruits of your labour,"---he added.
Speaking in the same vein, the Acting Head Of Local Government Administration, Ewekoro Local Government, Mr. Anigboro Wole Daniel, eulogized Mrs Solomon Elizabeth whom he described as an astute administrator, environmental expert, dogged and goal getter.

" My boss is a solution provider who operates beyond official assignment to the family matters in her bid to ensuring that officers are in the right frame of mind to discharge their duties without any hindrance."

" Ma , i want you to still consider yourself very useful to your community, and not only that but as well as to the service of God and humanity."
The highly delighted, Mr. Solomon Olufemi Daniel, a retired Health Educator and husband of the celebrant, corroborated other speakers, by acknowledging virtues of his darling whom he considered as excellent.

" She has played a great role in my life, whatever i am today, she contributed a lot , a wife in mother, a jewel of inestimable value and humble to a fault."
" She is made of my bone, the exact promise and fulfillment of God in my life,"---he stated proudly.

The Ogun State Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon.Oluwasesan Fagbayi, who moderated the cutting of the birthday cake and the toast of the Celebrant, seized the opportunity to join others to laud Mrs Solomon Elizabeth on her exceptional qualities.
While reiterating the fact that, " something is important, the beauty of service is to work and retire. There are challenges and achievements in the course of service but it is certain that one day, one will retire either by the length of service or age "

" As you are retiring, you will not retire unto death, illness and as you have served the government, government will serve you more,"-- the Commissioner prayed.
The handing over and induction of the Celebrant to the family and other retirees was performed in an emotion laden atmosphere.

The elated Celebrant in her Vote Of Thanks, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the people who graced the event to honour her from far and near, while praying that joyous occasions will not cease in their lives as she equally wished them journey mercies back to their various destinations.
Guests were entertained by Biggy Best musical organisation and Cultural troupe.
The colourful event had in attendance the creme de la creme of the society.
