DR.ADEKOYA BOWS OUT OF SERVICE IN A GRAND STYLE

.....as dignitaries pour encomium on Dr. Adekoya for impacting on the Local Government Service 

The immediate past Head of Local Government Administration, Odeda Local Government, Dr. Adekoya Olusoji Adetayo has bowed out of public service in Ogun State in a grand style.

Dr. Adekoya, having served meritoriously for 35 years in the Local Government Service of Ogun State without any blemish, performed his final official disengagement duties from the service.

In a get-together party organized to celebrate him, the Chief Host, Hon. Waliat Folasade Adeyemo, Executive Chairman, Odeda Local Government, in her welcome address, expressed her deepest gratitude to the Almighty God for making the day a reality.

" Dr. Adekoya has been a pillar of leadership in our local government, steering the administration with integrity, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to the people",--the Chairman affirmed.

She equally acknowledged the presence of dignitaries and eminent personalities present at the occasion.

In his opening remark, the Chairman of the Occasion, Dr. Adeolu Olufowobi, former Permanent Secretary,  Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, congratulated the celebrant on his achievement of attaining the age of 60 years and retirement ceremony.

" It is not easy to retire because of obstacles in the Service and to have passed through those obstacles. It is a thing of joy. "-- the former PS emphasized.

In the same vein, the father of the day, Alhaji Wale Ayilara, also praised the celebrant for being a cerebral, articulate, intelligent, and methodical person.

He disclosed that the first seniority list for local government staff in Ogun State was created by Dr. Adekoya.

Speaking , the mother of the day, Barr. Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo, immediate past Chairman, local Government Service Commission, congratulated the celebrant for retiring from the service without blemish.

The celebrant's father, HRH, Oba Issac Olusanya Adekoya, the Ayanyelu of Ijesha Ijebu, Odogbolu, in his royal message, appreciated dignitaries, personalities, colleagues and well wishers for honouring his son with their presence.

The elated Celebrant, Dr. Adekoya, in his vote of thanks, expressed his appreciation to God Almighty, who has been his strength and also to Hon. Adeyemo for the love and understanding.

He also appreciated  Barr.  Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo for having time to grace  the occasion. 

He further expressed his deepest appreciation to the Permanent Secretary, Local government Service Commission, Engr . Olanike Ogunbona FNSE, Directors in the Commission, Body of HOLGAs both retired and  those still serving.

He extended his appreciation to the planning committee, colleagues, families, friends, management, and staff of Odeda Local Government.

Present at the ceremony were Hon.
