LG SERVICE COMMISSION TASKS STAFF TO BE COMMITTED, DEDICATED AS THE COMMISSION EMBARKS ON YEAR 2023/2024 PROMOTION AND UPGRADING EXERCISE

The Ogun State Local Government Service Commission has urged its unified staff to be committed and dedicated to effective service delivery at all times.

This call was made by the Permanent Secretary to the Commission, Engr. Olanike Ogunbona. FNSE during the ongoing years 2023/2024 Promotion and Upgrading exercise for its Unified Staff at the Commission's Secretariat in Oke-Mosan Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Engr. Ogunbona.FNSE appreciated His Excellecy, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON for taking the welfare of the entire workforce of Ogun State as Paramount in its administrative policies.

She further disclosed that so much is expected from all Staff of the Local Governments as they are seen as the veritable tools for developing the  grassroots through quality services.

“You must therefore show total commitments and dedication to justify the confidence reposed in you by the Commission at their various duty posts “

Engr. Ogunbona described the promotion excercise as part of the oversight functions of the Commission towards enhancing the career prospects of Staff.

According to her, the promotion exercise has been designed to engage staff in areas where questions will be asked on their professions, Staff  regulations and handbooks ,general knowledge as well as fluency and composure .

The exercise which  commenced on Wednesday,29th January is expected to be rounded off on Tuesday, 11th February, 2025.
