DR.ADEYEMO , ODEDA LG BOSS , SWEARS-IN NEW SLG

The Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. (Dr) Waliat Folasade Adeyemo has sworn in the new Secretary to the Local Government. 

The ceremony was held at the Chairman's office in the council's Secretariat, Odeda.

Delivering her speech during the historic event,the Chairman thanked everybody for coming to the ceremony to be part of another milestone in the history of Odeda Local Government.

 She congratulated the newly sworn in Secretary to the Local Government , stressing  that his position is crucial to the success of the Local Government.

After signing the oath of office and oath of allegiance, the new SLG, Hon. Oyekunle Adebayo Oluwagbemiro, in his acceptance speech expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman for her exemplary leadership and commitment to the people of Odeda Local Government.

He also thanked the Vice- Chairman, Hon. Adigun Yaya Nasiru, for his support,  guidance and dedication to serving the community. 

In his words, "I am here to listen, learn and work diligently to support the initiative and vision set forth by the administration"

In his vote of thanks, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Adekoya Olusoji, welcomed the new SLG, while appreciating the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON) for  the privilege that he gave to the newly sworn in SLG.

He also appreciated the Chairman for her proactiveness in conducting the swearing in and inauguration ceremony for the new SLG.

Born into the esteemed Oyekunle family , the new SLG is a loving husband and a proud father of two. 

His educational journey began at Alagbagba Primary School, where he laid the foundation for his academic pursuit. He then proceeded to Odeda Secondary School in furtherance of his academic pursuit. Following  this, Hon.Oyekunle Adebayo went to Federal College of Education, Osiele where he gained vital insights and experiences that have shaped his path.

Today, he holds the position of Organizing Secretary in the Odeda Local Executive Council of the APC, a role in which he has demonstrated remarkable leadership and dedication. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication at Crescent University, furthering his commitment to personal growth and development.

Adigun Yaya Nasiru, the Vice chairman of Odeda Local Government, Dr Adekoya Olusoji, Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Directors of departments, Heads of Departments and well wishers.
