The Executive Chairman of Yewa South Local Government, Barr. Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola, commenced the comprehensive renovation of the Yewa South Local Government Secretariat, Ilaro , in fulfillment of his administration’s promise to provide a conducive working environment for staff and better service delivery to the people.
, the Chairman said the rehabilitation of the secretariat is a top priority of his administration because a good working environment directly impacts productivity, efficiency, and staff welfare.
“When workers are comfortable, they will deliver better service to our people. This renovation is part of our commitment to staff welfare and to ensure that Yewa South LGA has a secretariat that reflects the dignity of public service,” Barr. Ogunsola stated.
General rehabilitation of office blocks, roofs, and ceilings
Refurbishing of offices, conference hall, and reception areas

sanitation facilities and drainage system
Landscaping and repainting of the entire secretariat complex
The Chairman noted that the project is being executed with strict adherence to quality and transparency, and it is expected to be completed within the shortest possible time to minimize disruption of official activities.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Samuel Ige, commended the Chairman for prioritizing staff welfare. He assured that staff would cooperate fully during the renovation period and maintain discipline and professionalism.
The NULGE Chairman, Comrade Babatunde Osadare, expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman on behalf of the entire workforce. He described the renovation as “a new dawn for workers in Yewa South” and pledged the union’s support for the administration’s policies.
